I have been married to John, my high school sweetheart since May, 1970. We have four married children and 16 beautiful grandchildren and 1 beautiful great grandaughter. John and I have been active members of Life.Church in Oklahoma City for several years.

For over 30 years, I have gathered with other women to study God's Word. Several of these women have been important mentors to me. Their daily lives have modeled godliness and hospitality. Their example challenged me to dig into God's word for myself and hear from Him. God's word is current and applicable to our lives today and can be understood by all who sincerely desire to know Him. Jesus changed my life June 1, 1986; He forgave my sins and cleansed my heart. I am forever His and He is mine.

My heart's desire is that you would open the Bible and discover God's answers for your life...Within the Word.

I am married to the man of my dreams Jeff and together we enjoy our beautiful daughters Alessondra & Giavauna and our amazing son Xavier. I am a forgiven woman who has battled with depression and self confidence in the past. Even at an early age I was aware of the void in my life. Like many young women I thought I could fill the void with boyfriends or if I attended college and became "somebody" and got a "real job" that would fill the void. I needed to prove that I was worthy. I finally realized that no man or all the college degrees, high paying careers and self-fulfilling actions could NOT fill this void! I got back into church, and slowly became involved, at first just going through the motions...because it was "the right thing to do", then my fiancé (now husband) and I found a couples church group to join. We attended weekly for some time, then through a series of circumstances God called us to lead it, which we did for over 9 years. We are now lead our second married Lifegroup and we meet every other week with these couples. We love doing life together.

Before long I felt God nudging me to find a women's Bible study to participate in. He knew that I needed to be Within the Word, to develop the intimate relationship that He desired to have with me. Studying God’s word and growing in my walk with the other women in our Bible study has enabled me to see more clearly who I am in Christ. I can not express how studying God's word has changed me!

My husband builds new homes in Edmond, and we are active members of LifeChurch.tv-OKC, where Jeff volunteers in the video production department and serves on the Board of Directors. I volunteer my time in our women's ministry and at the Info booth and periodically go on mission trips to provide medical services to impoverished communities around the world; locally I volunteer as a PA-C at a free clinics in Oklahoma City. We also love home educating our daughters and attending the Ignite Homeschool Co-op.

I've been in a love relationship with my Lord for about 25 years. He has blessed my life with a wonderful husband and a marriage that is just starting it's 38th year! I have a handsome son who is 30 and a beautiful daughter who is 20. It is such a joy to be a part of this awesome ministry, Within the Word. My personal ministry is a volunteer program which has led me to become a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for Oklahoma County. I advocate, through the courts, for children who are in the custody of the Department of Human Services. It is a very rewarding program in that you can be God's instrument to change the lives of His children. I want to welcome you to Within The Word and I know that God has great and wondrous things planned for you life as He leads you into this ministry!
