I remember disobeying my parents from time to time when I was a child. They would sit me down and tell me of their disappointment. They would go back over the rules that I had chosen to ignore and reaffirm the importance of obedience. Loving parents do not shirk their duty to train up their children. Paul loved the believers in Corinth as his very own children in the faith. He tells them his desire is that they walk in obedience to the truth they had been taught
